The Summer Creativity Workout Camp with Mary

In this camp designed for ages 9-13, young authors and illustrators will spend the week learning to create unique characters and develop interesting storylines, alongside a published book illustrator. On day one campers will make their own sketchbook, which will be used throughout the week to record their story and illustrations. Exercising the imagination, campers will development both drawing and writing skills and learn how to build a short story from start to finish. Campers will have the opportunity to see camp instructor Mary Wentzel’s original artworks from her book “Crazy’s A to Z for Kids” on exhibit at OMAM for the summer.

9 a.m. – 12 p.m. Monday – Friday (June 12-16)

This camp is open to ages 9-13.
