Mini Felted Landscape with Liz Canali

Learn 2D needle felting techniques to create a mini landscape. Learn how to translate a design, choose the appropriate wools, create a sky and foreground, and add details. Be inspired by Liz's designs or create your own! This class is appropriate for both beginner and experienced felters. If you’d like to create your own design and request your own colors, you must register by May 9th. You will receive an email on May 10th with instructions on how to request your colors.

All supplies are provided by instructor, including felting pad, pre-felt backing, various wools, 4-inch embroidery hoop, and two felting needles (additional needles will be available for $1 each).

Those who register by May 9th will have the option to request colors for their own design. Those who register after May 9th will receive colors for a design selected by the instructor.

About the Instructor:

Liz Canali studied art and art education receiving a BS at Southern Connecticut State College. Her felt work has been displayed in galleries throughout New England and Florida. Liz has been featured in Western Massachusetts Chapter of the American Institute of Architects, Felt New Zealand and the Orlando Sentinel. Liz's work includes sculpture, illuminated felt, wall hangings and women's accessories (hats, scarves, bags). She has a background in art administration and teaching. She teaches classes and workshops in both wet felting and needle felting.
