This FREE program is open to all veterans and current service members. A spouse or other family member (age 16 or older) may take the workshop with their military member, but all participants must register in advance.

About the Series:
OMAM launched this new monthly series in 2023 to provide a free and unique experience to veterans. The hour-long program includes an in-depth look at the art on display and a hands-on art activity using various tools and materials.
About the Instructor:
Diamond Johnson
Curator of Youth & Outreach Programs
"My love for art began in Fayetteville, North Carolina, as I perused landscape painting as a child. My love for nature grew during high school as I obsessively photographed various islands throughout Japan. My love for our community heightened after my experiences as an art educator, Meals on Wheels coordinator, VPK volunteer, and art gallery assistant. As a daughter of a US Army 82nd Airborne veteran, I am so honored and grateful to work with the Ormond Memorial Art Museum & Gardens. Their mission and impact within our community inspire me to create and share positive experiences with Volusia County, and beyond!"
