About the Series:

Typically occurring on the second Friday of each month, this veterans-only event provides an enriching museum or garden tour, paired with a short art activity. Afterward, the group enjoys soft music, pleasant conversations, and a free lunch.

About Diamond Johnson, Curator of Youth & Outreach Programs

"My love for art began in Fayetteville, North Carolina, as I perused landscape painting as a child. My love for nature grew during high school as I obsessively photographed various islands throughout Japan. My love for our community heightened after my experiences as an art educator, Meals on Wheels coordinator, VPK volunteer, and art gallery assistant. As a daughter of a US Army 82nd Airborne veteran, I am so honored and grateful to work with the Ormond Memorial Art Museum & Gardens. Their mission and impact within our community inspire me to create and share positive experiences with Volusia County, and beyond!"
