Thursday, Jan. 25, 2024 | 2:00-3:30pm | Led by Kristin Heron
Please join us for this Art of Healing Workshop and learn how to create a balanced mobile piece of art inspired by Alexander Calder’s “Snow Flurry.” We’ll enjoy a short writing activity to collect thoughts on beginning the new year and then make kinetic art mobiles. All supplies are included, and no art experience is needed. If you have a pair of small round nose jewelry pliers, please bring them, if not they will be provided for participants to share.
The same project will be taught at both January workshops (1/11 & 1/25), so please only sign up for ONE of the dates. If you need assistance registering, please call the museum at 386-676-3347.
About the Series:
Art of Healing is open to anyone (ages 16 & up) in need of reflective time, including caregivers, survivors, and those who have lost a loved one. The art outreach program is free, but requires participants to register in advance.
