Art of Healing: Glass Plant Stakes with Dusana Souchek

In this Art of Healing workshop led by special guest instructor Dušana Souchek, learn how to make plant stakes with fused glass! Each participant will get two sticks and lots of glass chips to come up with individual designs. Choose to make an abstract design, a bird, a flower or whatever you’d like! All supplies are provided, and no art experience is needed. Glass stakes will be available for pickup approximately one week after class; participants will be notified when the plant stakes have been fired and are ready for pickup. 

About the Series:

Art of Healing is open to anyone (ages 16 & up) in need of reflective time, including caregivers, survivors, and those who have lost a loved one. The art outreach program is free, but requires participants to register in advance.

About the Instructor:

Using decades of experience in fine arts field working with oils, acrylics, watercolor and clay, Dušana has expanded her talents to include fused glass. Keeping the principles of color, perspective, balance and a point of interest, Dušana creates colorful and whimsical works in glass. Her works can be found in galleries and are in private collections locally and abroad
