Veterans Lunch & Learn: Florida Woodturners

Friday, Jan. 24, 2025 | 11:00am - 12:30pm

Through a special presentation and live demonstration from the Northeast Florida Woodturners Association, participants will learn about various wood types, lathe safety, and more! Afterward, the group will enjoy a free Publix sub or salad lunch. All supplies are provided, and no previous art experience is required.

This FREE program is ONLY open to veterans and current service members.

Registration will close at 10am Thursday, 1/23, or when program is full

About the Presenter:

The Northeast Florida Woodturners Association is an affiliate of the American Association of Woodturners, Chapter #130, and are open to turners of all skill and experience levels. The Club supports a number of worthy charities including the AAW Return to the Community project, Turn Pens for the Troops, the Woodcraft sponsored Festival of Trees benefiting the United Way and Empty Stocking Fund, and Holiday Toys for the Nemours Children’s Clinic.
