Description

Mondays, Oct. 13, 20 & 27, 2025 | 10:30am - 1:30pm

This class combines wet felting and needle felting techniques. You’ll discover how to transfer images onto your wet felted background, allowing you to create anything from sprawling landscapes and wildlife to portraits and abstract designs. Introduction to different types of wool and embellishments, lying out the wool, calculating shrinkage and proper fulling techniques will be taught in this class. How to mount and display your piece will be discussed. Beginner friendly but some felting experience is helpful.

What students should bring to class:

  • Two large towels and two hand towels (they can be old)
  • Scissors
  • Photos for inspiration
  • OPTIONAL: Palm sander, and any scraps of yarn, silk and any wool you might want to use.

Registration will close when workshop is full.
