ArtWave Youth Workshop: Digital Photography

Saturday, Dec. 13, 2025 | 2:00-3:30pm

In this session of ArtWave, ages 11 to 14 will learn about digital photography in a hands-on workshop led by special guest instructor Suzanne McCarthy.

Students should bring a phone or digital camera to take photos with during the workshop. Seats are limited, so signing up in advance is highly encouraged!

Registration will close when workshop is full.

A free scholarship spot may be available for this workshop. Parents receiving food assistance (SNAP benefits) are eligible to apply for this 100% tuition assistance by presenting their EBT card and a photo ID. To start the registration process, please email edennison@ormondartmuseum.org.

About the Instructor

Suzanne McCarthy is an award-winning photographer and photo editor based in Ormond Beach, specializing in portrait, editorial, and fine art photography. A freelance photojournalist for The Ormond Beach Observer, she captures local events with a focus on storytelling. Her work has been featured in numerous juried exhibitions across Central Florida and in local galleries, including recognition from the Southeast Museum of Photography. She is a member of the American Society of Media Photographers and the Professional Photographers of America.
