Mondays, April 6 & 13, 2026 | 10:30am - 1:00pm
Build a beautiful wall piece or scarf using the “stained glass” Nuno felt technique. You will use wool, silk fabrics, yarn and other embellishments to make your picture. Use stained glass patterns or create your own inspired by your silk fabric choices. Explore the endless possibilities of Nuno felting!
Students are responsible for bringing the following supplies:
- 2 bath size towels
- 2 hand towels
- 1 squirt bottle (one that has a fine spray)
- sharp scissors
- Optional: any silk scraps or other light weight material you might want to try

About the Instructor
Liz Canali studied art and art education receiving a BS at Southern Connecticut State College. Her felt work has been displayed in galleries throughout New England and Florida. Liz has been featured in Western Massachusetts Chapter of the American Institute of Architects, Felt New Zealand and the Orlando Sentinel. Liz's work includes sculpture, illuminated felt, wall hangings and women's accessories (hats, scarves, bags). She has a background in art administration and teaching. She teaches classes and workshops in both wet felting and needle felting.
