Saturday, Sept. 12, 2026 | 1:00 - 3:30pm

Learn mono-printing techniques while creating a series of mixed media landscapes for you to gift or keep during this one-day workshop led by Lisa Carlson. From generating ideas for effective images to using pastels, inks, masks, and more while applying color theory, Lisa will provide step-by-step instructions, multiple examples, and a link to a helpful digital guide. You'll get to try all the equipment and mediums before you invest; acrylic paints, print papers, posca pens, the gel plate, and more!

Beginners and seasoned creatives welcome! Students are responsible for bringing their own smock and package of sensitive baby wipes. All other materials are provided.

About the Instructor

Lisa Carlson, an art educator with a proven track record in the fine art industry, has honed her skills in both creative production and teaching. She excels in cultivating critical thinking to inspire creative output in others, curriculum development, public speaking, and art production in drawing and painting, along with print making & photography. Lisa’s academic journey began with a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) in Painting & Drawing/Art Education from The University of North Carolina at Greensboro, where she graduated with honors. Her passion for art led her to pursue an M Ed in Art Education on campus from The Pennsylvania State University, specializing in curriculum development with additional hours in painting and drawing, museum internship & educational program development.
