Colored Pencil Fox Workshop with Kathi Darby

Summary

In this colored pencil workshop instructed by Kathi Darby, students will focus on how to render long, short, coarse, and soft fur as well as create a blended background. Students are responsible for most supplies; please see the supply list below. This workshop is appropriate for beginner-intermediate students.

SUPPLY LIST:
1) Prismacolor pencils recommended: Black, Burnt Ochre, Cream, Dark Brown Goldenrod, Light Umber, Orange, Powder Blue, Sienna Brown, White, Yellow Ochre, Yellowed Orange, and Verithin Black (optional)
2) Other items: Drawing paper (100lb weight or higher), pencil sharpener, erasers (gum, battery, plastic), a sheet of transfer paper and blenders (colorless blender, stumps, tortillons, or cotton swabs), embossing tool (may substitute Xacto knife or Slice tool)
