Art of Healing: Fused Glass Swizzle Sticks with Dusana Souchek
Summary
In this Art of Healing workshop led by special guest instructor Dušana Souchek, learn the basic principles of glass fusing by building a swizzle stick from scratch! Starting with thin strips of glass, then stacking and arranging a variety of shapes and colors of precut glass and murrinis, we will create unique and stylish, as well as functional, swizzle stick for your daily use. Swizzle sticks will be available for pickup at OMAM a week after class (details will be given in class). No art experience is needed, and all supplies are provided. Art of Healing is open to anyone (ages 16 & up) in need of reflective time, including caregivers, survivors, and those who have lost a loved one. The art outreach program is free, but requires participants to sign up in advance.
