Registration

Please join exhibiting artist Patricia Zalisko for a talk in the museum galleries about how she stumbled upon her process for creating art, a method that largely explains how she thinks. Influenced by a profession in her earlier life, in which words were both a weapon and a tool, Zalisko engages the power of the written word to create her own visual language that eludes precise definition in words. Like working on a mini-crossword, Zalisko writes haiku while painting, puzzling out topics as beautiful as nature and as grim as war. This talk is free of charge, but registration is requested. The talk will last approximately one hour.
