Guided Trip to Norton Museum of Art with Ruth Grim
Summary
Join on a trip to the Norton Museum of Art in West Palm Beach to view one of the highlights of the exhibition season in Florida - Art and Life in Rembrandt’s Time: Masterpieces from the Leiden Collection. A rarely exhibited private collection, this event brings the largest collection of Rembrandts in private hands to Florida for the first time. We will have a private tour of the exhibition followed by lunch at the Norton’s renowned café and more time to experience this major south Florida institution. Your guide, OMAM Guest Curator Ruth Grim, will provide commentary and informative videos on the life and times of Rembrandt and his colleagues on the bus trip down and back. This will be an all day trip! Our chartered bus will depart from OMAM promptly at 7:30am and will return back to OMAM approximately 7:30pm. The (non-refundable) trip registration fee ($80 OMAM Museum/Guild members; $90 Future Members) covers transportation and Ruth's discussions during the ride, Norton Museum admission, and the private exhibit tour. Participants are responsible for paying for their own meals and other expenses.
