Linocut Printmaking with Lisa Carlson

Summary

Join Lisa Carlson to make a series of linocut prints to gift or keep. From generating a creative idea for an effective image, carving your image on a linocut block, and then printing your image, Lisa will guide you as you build on your printmaking skills during this two-day workshop. You'll get to try all the equipment and media before you invest; carving tools, 1-2 speedy-carve linocut blocks, printing ink and papers. Lisa will provide step-by-step instructions, multiple examples, and a link to a helpful digital guide. Beginners and seasoned creatives welcome!

Students are responsible for bringing their own smock; all other supplies are provided.
