Art Book Club: Hamnet
Summary
During this OMAM Art Book Club meeting, we'll discuss Hamnet by Maggie O'Farrell, a historical fiction novel focusing on the 1596 death of William Shakespeare's 11-year-old son from the plague. It explores themes of grief, marriage, the healing power of love and art, and the untold story that inspired one of the greatest plays ever written, Hamlet. RSVPs are encouraged as refreshments will be provided. Admission is free! Those in attendance will help select the July/August book and meeting date, so bring your recommendations!
