"Banana Splits" Pastel Workshop with Exhibiting Artist Izzy Losskarn

Summary

Join pastel artist Izzy Losskarn and create your own painting of the American dessert classic; the Banana Split! Over the course of two hours, students will construct a Banana Split and be guided through the process of making a colorful, realistic pastel painting from the customized, delectable still life set ups which they create. This workshop is suited for all skill levels; beginner, advanced, and expert pastel artists and enthusiasts are welcome! Banana Split materials, prepared panels, and a limited palette of pastels and paper will be provided, but students are encouraged to bring additional soft pastels from their own collection if applicable. Fixative will also be available upon request..
